The Terrain has a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing and a nine-speed automatic transmission. You get up to 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque with the Terrain. There’s an optional 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with variable valve timing, one that generates a whopping 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, though you can also opt for the 1.6-liter Turbo-Diesel engine with 137 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, you can tow up to 3,500 pounds with the Terrain.

For a range of first-class amenities, the Terrain is right for you. Inside this model you’ll find leather-wrapped steering, real aluminum trim, soft-touch materials, electronic precision shift, and available leather-appointed seating. The front-to-back load floor lets you fold seating flat to fit more, and the intuitive design is great for accessing media and entertainment.
