The CarbonPro™ Edition of the Denali trim now has the powerful 3.0-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel engine available. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the engine reaches 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. For the first time, the 5.3-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management can now pair with the available 10-speed automatic transmission.

The ProGrade™ Trailering System has been updated for the 2020 model year. The system now has up to an available 15 camera views, making trailering a breeze. The new transparent trailer view allows you to see around the trailer and more easily trailer through tight spaces and traffic.

The myGMC mobile app was also improved upon. You can now edit and create trailer profiles with the app, and then you can load them onto the in-vehicle Trailering App. You can also easily share these trailer profiles with others. The in-vehicle Trailering App can also now send trailer mileage information and maintenance reminders directly to the myGMC app so you can stay connected to your trailer even when you’re not driving.

Specific features in the iN·Command® Control System from ASA Electronics can now be accessed with the myGMC app in the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. With certain trailer configurations, this means you can now monitor the holding tank and water levels, turn on your trailer’s water heater or air conditioning or check fuel levels with ease.

The Denali, AT4 and SLT trims now have the Adaptive Cruise Control – Camera available. The camera is located behind the rearview mirror and has the ability to stop the truck. SiriusXM® with 360L is available on the Sierra 1500 so you can have more channels to listen to.
